Family's effect on Students

Education means simply the process of Getting Knowledge. But how? , This is the most important question in our context because Education up to now, In Our Context, Has been taken as a hard work. Even teachers say, work hard, Get Good Marks. But Even A high school graduate student does not know for what purpose he was reading or educating himself for years and years. Finally, He knows that Just for 'Earning Money'.




When A student starts to go to school to educate himself. From that time onwards, The Parents and Teachers start to say, if you want a bright future, just Read. They give examples of  Sr. Issac Newton, Einstein etc. But They don't give examples of Great Singers, Footballers and Cricketers who are enjoying their life. I guarantee They are having a great life being there than Scientists like Sr. Newton and Einstein.




When A boy or a Girl goes to play a game, then The parents scold them. They always tell them to read, read and read. But they don't want to know about how much ability does he/she have. When you'll ask a student in Nepal, what his aim is? then He will surely reply to be A Doctor or An Engineer. I also wanted to be a IT specialist, Unfortunately, I am unable to turn my passion into my profession. I am preparing for medical exams. That's how a Nepali Family is making pressure in the students, Their children.




Isn't there any fundamental right to choose my profession or what to study? then what is the meaning of right to freedom? Is it just for Name?




Ok, Let's compare foreign education system and Nepali Education System. In the developed countries like USA, A student can get any profession, because there neither the family matters nor the money.But, In a country like Nepal , Both of them matters. We will not get loan for study. Even if we get the Loan , You cannot imagine the interest and the time of Loan.




Yes, we talked about the problem, but what would be the solution? Because As soon as possible we need to eradicate this problem. Is this the problem for which the youths are committing suicide? May be, It's one of them.





The solutions for the problems may be - Government providing loans for study to any field, And The Loan should be of very low interest and a long time returning time.






As Students are the one who should take the responsibility for the country, SAVE THE STUDENTS.
